I've been wanting to get some nice southern utah genre paintings and landscape paintings going. It is great to work a little larger.  This painting is 24 x 30 and the light just glows.

Barns

Stacy loves painting old barns, and does a fabulous job of getting great lighting.  He loves the textures in the wood and other materials.  He especially loves the different colors in metal corrugated roofing.  Look for more of these to show up.

This one is not a black and white painting, but actually has vibrant reds, yellows, browns, and whites.  This is the only picture of it as it sold in its first showing.

This is a long, skinny painting, and will need a custom frame.  This painting has since sold.

This is also in a private collection.

Mountain Men, Cowboys and Other People

This is a mountain man who lives in our neighborhood.

I love the romanticism of cowboy art.

This next one is of my niece, Megan.  It became her wedding gift.

 This piece was commissioned, but we still have the painting.  They wanted a self portrait as a Scott on the golf course.

Stacy loves fishing and fishermen.

This guy looks like he is cheating at poker.

This was a commissioned piece.

A duck hunter and a fairy.  I love the translucent wings.

A Few Landscapes

One of the favorites, Grafton, Utah

Brian Head

One of Stacy's favorite colors is yellow.  He loves the amber tones of dry grass and the fall.  He excels at depicting golden outdoor light.

Pine Valley

Stacy also uses pastel colors in landscapes.  This gives a wonderful, lazy feeling of late summer.

WCCC Murals

 These are more murals, the ones Stacy did for the Washington City Community Center in their day care center.  They requested murals of children doing sports.

 This is one of my favorites, and was loosely based on my children, but I don't have a finished picture of it.  I have one or two who would rather sit and pick daisies or look at butterflies than pay attention to the game.

This one no longer exists.  The girls didn't care for it and painted over it.

This fairy tale mural was for a little girl's bedroom.

This princess is a portrait of the little girl.

I love the detail of the flowers in this one.

These next ones were done for a preschool.  There was a jungle room too, but I can't find the pictures, I will add them when I do.
